The Ally Centre and a member of CBU Sociology (Communities & Connections) faculty will be sharing the realities facing vulnerable members of our community and the service providers who work with them. Stories and results from research conducted in our communities will be shared.

Leonard Boudreau, former Battalion Adjutant with the 2nd Battalion, Nova Scotia Highlanders (Cape Breton), and President of the Cape Breton Highlanders Assoc. will talk about the involvement of Cape Bretoners during WWI and WWII, including in the important Battle of Vimy Ridge 100 years ago.


Learn about the role played by the Cape Breton and Nova Scotia Highlanders during both wars, and what has been accomplished through the association they formed upon their return from the battlefields of Italy and Northern Europe.
