Author Reading & Book Launch:

The Red Dragon Girl by Lea Doué

Wed. Dec. 6th

6-8 PM

McConnell Library (50 Falmouth Street, Sydney)

Join local author Lea Doué for readings from the latest book in her Firethorn Chronicles - The Red Dragon Girl.

Princess Melantha is done with court life. After suffering humiliation at her sister's wedding, she's determined to find her place outside palace walls and far away from fickle princes. Hearing rumors of a curse breakable only by a red-haired girl, she says goodbye to her eleven sisters and sets out on her own.

Everyone welcome. Books available for purchase and signing.

About the author:

Lea is the author of The Firethorn Chronicles, a series inspired by fairy tales and other classic stories. Homeschooling and writing take up most of her time, but she also enjoys directing a small puppet team at her church. A native of South Georgia, Lea currently lives in Nova Scotia, Canada with her husband, their two boys, and three cats. But, sadly, no dragons.
