Join lawyer, political analyst, former Nova Scotia cabinet minister, and author, Graham Steele for readings from his latest book The Effective Citizen (Nimbus, 2017) – a book that “pulls back the curtain on our political system and gives readers a look inside”.
In Steele’s own words, “I wrote this book so you might better understand how to recognize political bull****, and what to do about it."
Readings will be followed by Q&A and discussion.

Steele’s memoir What I Learned About Politics (2014) was a Globe & Mail bestseller and in 2015, was nominated for the Shaughnessy Cohen Prize for Political Writing and the Evelyn Richardson Award for Nonfiction.
