With winter seemingly shorter and short each passing year, Taste of Winter strives to pack a wide gammut of fun and activities into the last six weeks of our winter season. With over 30 activities occurring in many neighbourhoods throughout the CBRM, there is a lot to do this winter.

Our trails, walking paths, and wilderness are wonderful ways to enjoy your winter in the CBRM. CBRM Recreation has multiple pairs of showshoes that we can lend to help you on your way. Contact CBRM Recreation Program Coordinator Ashely Eisan for more information.
CBRM Transit, Ski Ben Eoin, and CBRM Recreation are partnering to get you to the hill on March 11th!
Departing from Cape Breton University, Sydney Waterfront District, and Sydney River, the CBRM Ski Bus will get you out to the hill for skiing, snowboarding, or to check out The White Out Banked Slalom event. Riders will also get a coupon for a day pass and rental for just $22.
