Headline: CBRM Recreation Goes to the Public with Recreational Game Plan Sessions
PUBLIC CONSULTATION SESSIONS WILL TAKE PLACE FROM OCTOBER 7 THROUGH OCTOBER 21
Sydney, Nova Scotia – The Cape Breton Regional Municipality (CBRM) Recreation Department have announced seven public consultation sessions for discussion of the Recreation Master Plan, seeking public input on the direction of recreational activities in the CBRM. The sessions will take place starting Wednesday, October 7th, and be facilitated by Recreational Game Plan consultants from Trace Studio.
The Recreation Master Plan is a plan that will encompass the programming, fields, and facilities of the CBRM. Aligning with the direct and indirect recreation needs of the community, the Recreation Master Plan will work to maximize the quality of life for residents of the CBRM.
The schedule for the public consultations are:
Wednesday, October 7 – 7pm – Albert Bridge Firehall, 4330 Louisbourg Highway, Albert Bridge
Thursday, October 8 – 7pm – Riverview Y’s Men Hall, 54 Riverdale Dr, Westmount
Tuesday, October 13 – 7pm – Glace Bay Firehall, 87 Reserve St, Glace Bay
Wednesday, October 14 – 7pm – Memorial High School, 80 Memorial Dr, Sydney Mines
Thursday, October 15 – 7pm – Civic Centre Community Room, 320 Esplanade, Sydney
Tuesday, October 20 – 7pm – Mt. Carmel Elementary, 3237 Nicholson Ave, New Waterford
Wednesday, October 21 – 7pm – Dominion Firehall, 2 Commercial St, Dominion
