Final public budget meetings scheduled
March 4, 2015
Full day of stakeholder presentations on March 13
Rescheduled District 3 meeting at Northside East Bay Fire Hall on March 11
SYDNEY, NS - CBRM Council is working toward a new annual budget at the end of March and seeking input from local organizations and stakeholders.
A stakeholder session will be held on Friday, March 13 at Council Chambers at City Hall, 320 Esplanade beginning at 9:30 am.
Individuals and organizations wishing to present to Council can pre-register by contacting the Clerk's Office at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or 902-563-5010. Deadline for registration is Tuesday, March 10 at 4 pm.
A previously cancelled budget meeting for District 3 at the Northside East Bay Fire Hall is rescheduled for Wednesday, March 11 at 6:30 pm. Councillor Mae Rowe, Mayor Cecil Clarke and senior CBRM staff will be in attendance. Local residents are encouraged to attend.
The budget session documents and resident survey will also be posted on CBRM's Website and Facebook page for residents who missed their district meeting. CBRM residents are encouraged to fill out a survey and make their views and priorities known.
