LANDS AT MUD LAKE, MIRA ROAD DISTRICT - CAPE BRETON REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that all interests in the parcel of land situated at Mud Lake, Mira Road District, Cape Breton Regional Municipality, Province of Nova Scotia, as more particularly described hereto, have been expropriated by the Cape Breton Regional Municipality for the purpose of construction of a flow control structure for flood mitigation purposes and works related thereto.
The description of the property that has been expropriated is as follows:
ALL that certain lot, piece or parcel of land, situate, lying and being northeast of Highway Number 22 (Sydney-Louisbourg Highway), in the Community of Mira Road, Cape Breton Regional Municipality, Cape Breton County, Province of Nova Scotia and being designated as LOT 2019-1 on a plan showing survey of land claimed by Mary Margaret Peters & Bridget Peters to be expropriated by Cape Breton Regional Municipality (for municipal purposes), prepared by Eric Whyte NSLS, dated August 12th 2019 and being more particularly bounded and described as follows:
BEGINNING at a survey marker found at the north most corner of land of the Cape Breton Regional Municipality, Parcel Identifier (PID) 15889645;
THENCE at an azimuth of 128 degrees 45 minutes 05 seconds along the northeast boundary of the said PID 15889645 a distance of 656.17 feet to a survey marker found on the northwest boundary of land of Edmond O’Grady Ormond, PID 15623374;
THENCE at an azimuth of 38 degrees 45 minutes 05 seconds along the said northwest boundary of PID 15623374 a distance of 247.48 feet to a survey marker set on a southwest boundary of land retained by claimants Mary Margaret Peters and Bridget Peters, PID 15543051;
THENCE at an azimuth of 308 degrees 45 minutes 05 seconds along the said southwest boundary of PID 15543051 a distance of 656.17 feet to a survey marker set on a southeast boundary of the said PID 15543051;
THENCE at an azimuth of 218 degrees 45 minutes 05 seconds along the said southeast boundary of PID 15543051 a distance of 247.48 feet to the point of beginning. LOT 2019-1 contains an area of 3.728 acres.
