CBRM Council Minutes

The CBRM Council holds its regular meeting once a month on the third Tuesday. The meetings start at 6:00 p.m. and are held in the Council Chambers located on the 2nd Floor of City Hall, 320 Esplanade, Sydney, Nova Scotia.

The Council also holds special meetings as required. Meeting notices are posted on the website and distributed to the local media for the attention of the public.

The minutes, once approved, become the official record of what took place at the meeting. The approval process requires a one-month delay of the minutes, which is common practice used in a majority of municipalities.

The Minutes can be accessed by clicking the above link to the Public Records Application. The Minutes are contained in the folders, listed by year. You can browse through the Minutes by double clicking on the meeting date, or utilize the search tool at the top of the page by entering a specific word or phrase. To go back to the previous page, click the “back” arrow at the top of the page.

Click on the printer/PDF icon to download, print and/or save the document. Enter the page range required and then click "download & print". Note: the pop-up blocker must be turned off.
