Take notice that the Council of the Cape Breton Regional Municipality intends to close an Undeveloped Section of George Street, Sydney, Nova Scotia, measuring approximately 1119.69 square feet +/-more or less, which is more particularly delineated on the map below.
Although this area is formally designated as part of George Street, it is undeveloped and does not form part of the travelled roadway or sidewalk. The proposed closure will not impede vehicle or pedestrian traffic.
A public hearing in relation to the closing of the undeveloped section will be held on Tuesday, March 10, at 6 p.m. at the Council Chambers, 2nd Floor, Civic Centre, 320 Esplanade, Sydney, Nova Scotia, at which time Council will hear those in favour and those opposed to the closing of this undeveloped street section.
