Traffic Notice and Transit Detour: Membertou Street & Route 12
Membertou Street will be closed between Mic Mac Crescent and Gallagher Street for water line repairs from March 2-16, 2026. Motorists are advised to plan alternate routes and allow extra travel time.
Starting Monday, Mar. 2, Route 12 will be detoured. When travelling back through Tupsi Drive, the bus will detour along Big Noel Ekei, continue onto Churchill Drive to Alexandra Street and resume regular routing. The same detour will apply in the reverse direction.
The Membertou bus will not be able to pick up passengers on Membertou Street between Big Noel Ekei and Maillard Street during the closure.
