Climate Risk Workshop – Louisbourg

Join us at the Climate Risk Workshop on Sunday, September 20, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Louisbourg Fire Hall. Participants will learn about local climate hazards and share their lived experiences, knowledge and priorities. The inputs will directly help shape the CBRM Emergency Management and Climate Adaptation Plans.

Facilitated by McAllister & Craig, these interactive sessions will cover:

– Why community input matters for CBRM’s climate adaptation strategy

– What local climate data tells us about regional hazards and vulnerabilities

– How current data compares to your real, lived experiences

– Priorities for community climate resilience and risk management

– Better support strategies for residents most affected by climate risks

The workshop is supported by funding from the Federation of Canadian Municipalities’ Green Municipal Fund.
