6:45 p.m. Update- Transit service is ending at 7:00 p.m. with all buses off the roads by 8:00 p.m.
All runs are experiencing delays with slow moving traffic and weather conditions.
Route 8 – Whitney Pier detouring from using East Broadway. Will use Church and then back on to Victoria Rd.
Route 13 – George St. detouring from Common, using Edgar St to Champlain.
Route 12 – expect delays at Kings Rd. Traffic moving slowly.
Route 2 is ending at 6:30. This is the half hour service between GB and Sydney.
Curbside Collection
Overnight curbside collection scheduled for tonight, Monday, January 26, has been cancelled due to weather conditions.
This cancellation applies to the following areas: Grand Lake Road, roads off Grand Lake Road, the Kytes Hill subdivision, Gardiner Mines, and Reserve Mines.
Extra garbage bags and green cart material will be collected on your next regularly scheduled collection day.
Blue bags will be collected during your area’s next scheduled blue bag collection week.
A decision regarding curbside collection for tomorrow will be made tomorrow morning.
