As part of the HVAC replacement project at City Hall, the contractor requires a full building shutdown on Monday, May 5 and Tuesday, May 6.
City Hall will be closed to the public on these dates, including the Citizen Service Centre (CSC) located in the lobby.
Regular access is expected to resume on the next business day, unless otherwise noted.
Residents who need to pay tax or water bills are reminded that several payment options are available without visiting City Hall:
- Through your bank or credit union
- Online banking (add CBRM as a payee)
- Credit card via Paymentus secure payment page (service fee applies) or call Paymentus’ toll-free number 1-866-837-4603
- Preauthorized payment -to make scheduled payment arrangements, download the Pre-Authorized Payment form on our Forms page, complete it in its entirety, and submit it with a VOID cheque enclosed. Incomplete forms will be returned.
