Traffic and Transit Notice: Connaught Avenue, Glace Bay (between One B Road and Wallace Road)
Connaught Avenue in Glace Bay will be closed to through traffic on Wednesday, June 3, to allow for the installation of a new sewer service.
The closure will be in place on Connaught Avenue between One B Road and Wallace Road. Traffic, including buses, will be detoured via Wallace Road and MacIntyre Lane.
Transit riders should note that the bus stops on Connaught Avenue within the closure area (One B, Woodward and MacNamara) will be temporarily unavailable during the work. Passengers are asked to use the nearest available stop at the bottom of MacIntyre Lane (170 Connaught Ave.)
