Beginning April 20, 2026, curbside collection across CBRM will begin at 6:00 a.m. This updated start time helps standardize collection now that municipal crews are responsible for all routes. Residents are asked to place materials at the curb no later than 6:00 a.m. on their collection day. While the start time is earlier, collection will continue throughout the day, and pickup times will still vary by area.
Residents in Grand Lake Road, the roads off Grand Lake Road, Kytes Hill Subdivision, Gardiner Mines, and Reserve Mines should continue to place their Green Cart, Garbage Bags, and Blue Bags at the curb by 12:00 a.m. on their collection day. Collection in these areas will continue to follow the existing overnight schedule.
