CBRM Public Works will be completing an emergency sewer repair on Thursday, August 13, 2026. There will be a full road closure at the work location: Connaught Avenue between Station Street and McIntyre Lane.
Due to the location of the required repair, emergency vehicles will not be able to pass. Civic addresses under 180 (east) will be accessible from McIntyre Lane. Civic addresses above 180 (west) will be accessible from Station Street.
This is a CBRM transit route. A temporary sign will be placed at bus stops near 170 Connaught and Crosby Street, advising riders that the stop is temporarily closed and to move to the nearest available stops at MacNamara and Main at Station Street, respectively.
Traffic, including buses, will be detoured from Connaught onto McIntyre Lane, and from Station Street towards Main Street.
