The first block of Commercial Street, between Blowers Street and Court Street, will be closed to traffic from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, October 22, to accommodate Halloween activities in Downtown North Sydney.
During this time, Transit Cape Breton Route 5 trips departing Sydney for Sydney Mines at 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. will detour and not pick up riders at two stops on King Street (between Summer Street and Commercial Street) and Commercial Street.
The bus will turn left from King Street onto Pleasant Street, right onto Archibald Avenue, left onto Prince Street, then left onto Blowers Street.
Regular routes will resume at 7 p.m.
