A water main break on Main Street in Glace Bay is affecting the area between Phalen Road and Cadigan Drive, including all side streets in between. Residents in this area may experience no water or low water pressure. Crews are on-site working to restore service, with an estimated restoration time of 6 p.m.
To complete the water main repair, a section of Main Street is closed from Phalen Road to Station Street. Transit buses and local traffic can still pass, but all other traffic is being rerouted. Traffic control is in place to guide drivers through detours.
