Used Batteries

 

There are several disposal options available for used batteries in CBRM.

 

CBRM's Household Special Waste Depot accepts used household batteries from residents free of charge. The Residential Household Special Waste Depot is located in the Sydport Industrial Park:

Residents can also visit the Call2Recycle® website www.call2recycle.ca/locator/ to locate other disposal locations where they can drop off their used batteries for recycling.

Where Can I locate a Drop-off Site for Batteries?

Consumers can locate a Call2Recycle Drop-Off Location in their area by visiting www.call2recycle.ca/locator/  You can also contact 1-877-2-RECYCLE to locate a public drop off location that accepts single use batteries free of charge.
